DIAMON-FUSION© INTERNATIONAL ANNOUNCES
LICENSING OF THE COUNTRY OF PANAMA
SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO, March 2001 - Diamon-Fusion® International, Inc. (DFI) announced today that it has licensed all rights to the Diamon-Fusion®process for the Country of Panama to a group of investors with ties to the Marriott Hotel group. Diamon-Fusion®S.A., located in Panama City, completed its training and certification program in February 2001 and is now in full operations.
Diamon-Fusion®S.A. is DFI'S 36th licensee of the award winning Diamon-Fusion®process but the company's first license in Central America. Diamon-Fusion®S.A. purchased all rights to the process for the entire country and plans to sub-license both manufacturing and field application licenses. Teofilo Hafeitz, General Manager of the new operation states, "We are thrilled with the opportunity DFI has given us. DFI's proven business model and exceptional product made our decision a 'no-brainer'. We would be hard pressed to find a product with larger clearly defined markets or higher true profit margins".
Adam Zax, President of DFI states, "We are thrilled to have Diamon-Fusion®S.A. join our growing family of licensee's. It is companies like these who continue to squash their competition handily by keeping themselves on the 'cutting edge' of new technologies. While the average Glass Company keeps their 'blinders' on when it comes to changes, the true leaders know the value of pursuing improvement. It's those leaders who are taking charge in our relatively new niche of the glass industry and reaping the largest rewards."
Company and Product Information:
Diamon-Fusion® is a proprietary process of imbedding an optically clear film into the microscopic ridges of glass and glass glazed surfaces and then 'capping' it, creating a long lasting hydrophobic (water repellent) seal. The seal prevents surface damage and dramatically reduces the time required to maintain treated surfaces in residential, commercial, automotive or industrial applications.
The company's licensees have the ability to apply the treatments to new and existing glass and glazed surfaces in homes and businesses, as well as the ability to restore glass and tile to its' original appearance prior to treating it.
In addition to creating a water-repellent surface, Diamon-Fusion® also makes glass harder to break or scratch, repels graffiti, and protects etched and sandblasted glass from the frequent and easy staining caused by handling or moisture. The process is a previous winner of KITCHEN & BATH BUSINESS MAGAZINE'S, "INNOVATIVE PRODUCT OF THE YEAR AWARD".
