Architects gain new exposure to Diamon Fusion® Nanotechnology

SAN CLEMENTE, April 2004- Diamon Fusion® International, Inc. (DFI), global developer and exclusive supplier of the Diamon Fusion® hydrophobic nanotechnology, recently started with the implementation of the Dec-2003- representation agreement reached with AES, Architects & Engineers Service, one of US leading companies in outside architectural sourcing with more than 60 years in business.

The DFI-AES agreement will positively affect the entire US market and other foreign markets as well, given the international scope of some of the companies, including nearly 10,000 architectural firms located throughout the US . AES is associated with the following organizations: The American Institute of Architects (AIA), The Construction Specifications Institute (CSI), International Conference of Building Officials (ICBO), Building Officials & Code Administrators (BOCA), The American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM), American National Standards Institute (ANSI), Design-Build Institute of America (DBIA), International Association of Lighting Designers (IALD), among others.

 “This new program fills the gap left by traditional marketing techniques and will most certainly create a much greater demand for our technology, allowing DFI licensees to profit from a potentially enormous source of business, in addition to clearly setting the Diamon Fusion® low-maintenance coating apart from other products”, DFI Senior Officials reported.

DFI’s nanotechnology multi-functional characteristics include: water and oil repellency (hydrophobic and oleophobic), impact and scratch resistance, protection against graffiti, dirt and stains, finger print protection on etched glass, UV stability, additional electrical insulation, protection against calcium and sodium deposits and increased brilliance and lubricity. DFI’s coating, a patented process, works at nanoscale levels and the change of the molecular composition of the silica-based surface (glass) created by DFI’s chemistry and bonding nanoparticles, along with the cross-linking, branching, and final ‘capping’, enables the full efficiency of the coating process at an atomic scale.
