DFI REACHES A 5-YEAR LICENSE AGREEMENT WITH
"AGP" AMERICAN GLASS PRODUCTS

SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO, August 2001 - Diamon-Fusion®International (DFI), previous award-winner of the Innovative Product of the Year, reached an exclusive licensing agreement with American Glass Products Company (AGP), one of the world's leaders in the Bullet Resistant Glass Industry and Specialty Glass for the Automotive Industry, with worldwide production facilities and sales offices (Mexico, Colombia, Peru, Brazil, USA, Japan and Germany), for an undisclosed amount.

The agreement, which both parties disclosed to have tremendous mutual benefits, gives AGP exclusivity, worldwide, in certain specialty niches. AGP currently provides Bullet Resistant Glass for many foreign governments, including several U.S. Government and Military Agencies (U.S. Department of State, TACOM, etc.), and is about to open the world's most modern and state-of-the-art manufacturing plant of the Bullet Resistant Glass Industry in Brazil (opening scheduled for December of this year). On the Automotive side, AGP is one of the largest producers of classical and specialty glass in the world with tooling capabilities for American, European and Japanese models that cover a span of over 60 years. On the OEM side, AGP is the sole supplier of glass to Lotus Cars Ltd. In the UK, including the Opel Speedster and the Vauxhall VX 220 produced by Lotus under contract for General Motors in Europe.

"We are extremely pleased with the decision of AGP to become an International Licensee for Diamon-Fusion® and we have no doubt that this agreement will benefit both companies in the development of additional foreign markets", said Mr. Guillermo Seta, Executive Vice President of DFI, Inc., who negotiated this exclusive agreement with Mr. Arturo Mannheim, Executive Director of AGP.

Diamon-Fusion® is a proprietary process of imbedding an optically clear film into the microscopic ridges of glass and any silica-based surfaces and then 'capping' it, creating a long lasting hydrophobic (water repellent) seal. This seal prevents surface damage and dramatically reduces the time required to maintain treated surfaces in residential, commercial, automotive or any other industrial applications. Diamon-Fusion® has proven (through independent lab tests) to have one of the highest contact angles (up to 118º) of any hydrophobic coating, which measures the repellency of the treated surface. Diamon-Fusion® also has the following unique characteristics: makes the surface highly scratch resistant, impact resistant (low coefficient of friction), and graffiti resistant, in addition to have the very innovative capability of receiving 'Invisible Art Glass™'. It has been proven by independent studies that a hydrophobic coating, applied on a car windshield, improves visibility during rainy conditions up to 34%, giving an additional second of reaction time to the driver, which translates into an excellent safety feature.
