: DFI unveils Diamon Fusion® technology as 'Enhanced-Hydrophobicity'
SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO, August 2002- Diamon Fusion International, Inc. (DFI), supplier
and exclusive licensor of the Diamon Fusion® patented technology, has unveiled,
under its new Global Marketing Strategy, a NEW category to better describe its innovative
technology: 'Enhanced-Hydrophobicity'. This new marketing term responds to
the industry's needs, on a global basis, to further define the differences between
other value-added products and the unique Diamon Fusion® technology.
"After more than 10 years of R&D and innovative developments, improving
hydrophobicity, by Diamon Fusion®'s Scientists, DFI felt compelled to make
a very clear distinction between alternative products, whether hydrophobic
(water repellant) or hydrophilic (water attracting), which are very limited
in scope and with a short range of qualities, and DFI's technology, which not only
generates a very durable hydrophobic effect with a 'permanent chemical bond',
but also provides, by a unique 'molecular change' at the surface, a wide range of
additional properties, such as: added brilliance, lubricity, additional electrical
resistance (insulation), scratch resistance, impact resistance (low coefficient
of friction), stain and graffiti resistance. We believe once the marketplace realizes

Diamon Fusion® is a proprietary process (patented technology) of growing
an optically clear film from the inside of the glass (or any other silica-based
surface) out, filling the microscopic ridges of the substrate and then 'capping'
it, creating a long lasting hydrophobic (water repellent) film. This film is permanently
attached to the substrate, prevents damage and dramatically reduces the time required
to maintain treated surfaces in residential, commercial, automotive or any other
industrial applications.
