:Diamon-Fusion®
:Maintenance Fact Sheet

Diamon-Fusion® is a revolutionary new process for glass, tile, porcelain and granite. It was developed to protect surfaces to which it is applied and reduce the time and effort needed to maintain those surfaces.

Diamon-Fusion® is similar to the development of Teflon® for cooking pans. While, you can cook food in uncoated pans, it is so much easier to clean if you cook with non-stick coatings. If you burn certain foods in pans without non-stick coatings, it often means that you must throw the pan away. Those same foods when cooked in a coated pan, clean up rather easily. The same is true with Diamon-Fusion® on glass glazed surfaces. While you still must maintain Diamon-Fusion®, the time and effort required are dramatically reduced, like Teflon® vs. non-coated pans. The warmer and dirtier the water, the greater the surface tension and spotting, thus shower doors require more maintenance than exterior windows.

On shower doors, simply pour cool water along the top edge of the glass and most of the soapy residue will run right off. A small, dry washcloth will dry the few drops of water that gravity hasn't removed. If you don't pour the water over the glass each time that's not a problem. You can go two or three days without doing anything. If you don't do anything, water spots will appear.

What's special about treated surfaces is that those spots, if removed every few days, won't stick and can be easily removed with a damp washcloth. (You wouldn't put away a pan, Teflon® coated or not, right after you cooked in it unless you gave it a quick rinse and dry.) That's all you need a wet cloth and a dry one to polish with. If you go weeks or months without the proper maintenance, depending on the water, you may need to use a wet body scrubber (like the ones you use with liquid body soaps), and lightly scrubbing away stains.

Should the glass become considerably stained from lack of regular maintenance, Diamon-Fusion's Ultimate Hard Water Stain Remover can be used to bring the surface back to its original sheen, in most cases, without damaging the Diamon-Fusion® coating. If you have not received a sample package of the Ultimate Hard Water Stain Remover, please contact your local licensee or call 800-213-0793.

For exterior uses, like windscreens, glass rails, windows and other hard to access glass, the Revolutionizer (a deionization sprayer that attaches to your garden hose) makes taking care of them a breeze. When water from the Revolutionizer hits a treated piece of glass, the dirt and debris rinse right off and the water that remains on the surface dries clear. To purchase a Revolutionizer, please call your local licensee or 800-213-0793.

Of the thousands of Diamon-Fusion® applications, only a handful of people have been dissatisfied with their treatments and in almost all of those cases, the customer was unhappy because they thought that there was no maintenance at all required on treated surfaces. While Diamon-Fusion® does make treated surfaces water repellent, stain resistant, harder to scratch and harder to break and lasts longer than any other coating, maintenance time is guaranteed to be reduced by at least 50% and as much as 90%, but not 100%.
