The innovations and growth of the Diamon-Fusion® hydrophobic nanotechnology have
occurred in various developmental stages.
Always committed to its vision of diversifying business relationships with creativity
and quality, forming of alliances for pursuit of constant technology development
and integrity as a core value, DFI's history is founded on a research and development
concept of seeking out innovative solutions for the protection of glass and all
other silica-based surfaces such as ceramic tile, porcelain, granite and other engineered
stones with silica component.
Since its early beginnings of R&D in the late 1980's, DFI's innovative
scientific inventions in the field of hydrophobicity have marveled scientists from
around the world.
A pioneer in the industry, DFI's visionary technology took central stage in 1996
when its unique chemical vapor process was named
"Innovative Product of the Year" by the prestigious Kitchen
and Bath Business magazine.
In 1997, DFI forms its new legal entity as a U.S. Corporation (State of California),
establishing itself as a global developer and exclusive supplier of all intellectual
property and equipment relating to Diamon-Fusion® Technology. Adam Zax, President
and CEO, is also DFI's Founder and Co-Inventor, and along with Guillermo Seta,
