WBS acquires Diamon-Fusion® low-maintenance coating
as new product line

SAN CLEMENTE, March 2004- Diamon-Fusion International, Inc. (DFI), global developer and exclusive supplier of the Diamon-Fusion® hydrophobic nanotechnology, reached an agreement with WBS, Wardrobe & Bath Specialties, Inc., one of California’s most reputable wardrobe and shower doors manufacturers, to have DFI’s low-maintenance coating applied on WBS product lines.

WBS, based in Modesto , California , is a 10-year fast-growing manufacturer of quality wardrobe doors and bath enclosures.  WBS has developed well-engineered products with an emphasis on quality.  Located in the central valley of California , WBS ships their products throughout most of the state using its own distribution system on 24-hr lead-time schedules under their philosophy of “quality product in a timely manner”.  WBS’s inventory includes several different finishes of aluminum and styles of glass.

George Stanton, President of WBS, reported: “The demand in the market place compelled us to find the most efficient and durable coating for our product lines; our customers have been asking for the Diamon-Fusion coating and we are very excited to have DFI’s technology since it will  add value and a new competitive edge.”

DFI’s nanotechnology multi-functional characteristics include: water and oil repellency (hydrophobic and oleophobic), impact and scratch resistance, protection against graffiti, dirt and stains, finger print protection, UV stability, additional electrical insulation, protection against calcium and sodium deposits and increased brilliance and lubricity. DFI’s coating, a patented process, works at nanoscale levels and the change of the molecular composition of the silica-based surface (glass) created by DFI’s chemistry and bonding nanoparticles, along with the cross-linking, branching, and final ‘capping’, enables the full efficiency of the coating process at an atomic scale.
