DFI Reacquires Licensing Rights in the US Auto Market
SAN CLEMENTE, Calif., July 9, 2008 - Diamon Fusion® International, Inc. (DFI Nanotechnology- “DFI”), global developer, sole owner, and exclusive licensor of the Diamon Fusion® patented hydrophobic nano-coating, announced today that effective June 21, 2008, the company has reacquired its licensing rights for new and used car and light truck dealerships from its former New York-based licensee (namely, “Diamon Fusion® USA, Inc.”) as such rights, formerly granted for the 48 contiguous United States, irrevocably ended on June 20th 2008.
DFI intends to aggressively market these licensing rights, including the use of
DFI’s solely owned Diamon Fusion® trademark along with any other private
label arrangements that the company may see fit for each specific market within
the automotive industry.
The company warns that as the trend of using protective coatings becomes more popular,
inferior products will begin to enter the market from companies with limited operating
histories. “DFI will continue to uphold the highest standards of marketing and product
integrity; we are committed to being a reliable source for information in a sea
of questionable claims”, promised DFI’s CEO Adam Zax.
For information about trademarks and patents in the US in order to verify any coating
supplier’s validity the company recommends to contact the US Patent and Trademark
Office (www.uspto.gov)
which can be used to verify claims of patents or trademarks’ registrations.
DFI Nanotechnology is a global technology developer and supplier, with patents
in over 40 countries, that grants licenses to select companies at both the retail
and wholesale level for its patented nanochemistry. DFI’s flagship product Diamon Fusion®
provides multi-functional characteristics that include: water and oil repellency
(hydrophobic and oleophobic), impact and scratch resistance, protection against
graffiti, dirt and stains, finger print protection, UV stability, additional electrical
insulation, protection against calcium and sodium deposits and increased brilliance
and lubricity. DFI’s nanocoating works at nanoscale levels to change the molecular
composition of any silica-based surface. Diamon Fusion® provides, in chemical
terms, a ‘cross-linked’, ‘branched’ and ‘capped’ optically clear
nano-film along with a strong and durable covalent bond.
