DFI introduces nanocoating in ARGENTINA
with strategic alliance


SAN CLEMENTE – (BUSINESS WIRE) —October 2004- Diamon-Fusion International, Inc. (DFI),, global developer and exclusive supplier of the Diamon-Fusion® patented nanotechnology, reached a strategic alliance license agreement with SCHEIMBERG VIDRIOS SA and Diseño Perfecto SA, both 3rd generation family-owned glass companies that have been manufacturing and distributing specialty glass in South America for 60 years.

SCHEIMBERG VIDRIOS SA, a 60-year privately-owned company founded in Rosario, currently the fastest-growing regional economy in ARGENTINA, is a leader in specialty curved glass, with their own glass trademarks, including: VETROCUR® (Curved Glass), VETROTEMP® (Tempered, Flat & Curved Glass) and VETROCAMARA® (DVH, Double and Tripe Insulated Glass). SCHEIMBERG VIDRIOS’ glass markets include: Architectural (both curved and flat glass) Agricultural Machinery, Automotive, Marine and Refrigeration. Diseño Perfecto SA, a Buenos Aires- based privately owned company, is a leader in the “White Line” (kitchen ovens, laundry machinery, refrigerators) and Refrigeration Glass markets with its trademark ARCOTEC®. Both companies share a JV in ARGENTINA and have premiere exporting capabilities, with customers in South America, USA and Europe. Both companies are also well positioned in the MERCOSUR (Regional Trade Agreement among six countries: Argentina, Brasil, Uruguay, Paraguay, Chile and Bolivia).

DFI’s nanotechnology multi-functional characteristics include: water and oil repellency (hydrophobic and oleophobic), impact and scratch resistance, protection against graffiti, dirt and stains, finger print protection, UV stability, additional electrical insulation, protection against calcium and sodium deposits and increased brilliance and lubricity. DFI’s nanocoating, a patented process, works at nanoscale levels to change the molecular composition of any silica-based surface. Diamon-Fusion® provides a cross-linked, branched, and ‘capped’ coating along with a strong and durable covalent bond.
