DFI signs agreement to pursue ISO 9001 Certification

SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO, March 2002 - Diamon-Fusion® International, previous award-winner of the Innovative Product of the Year, signed an agreement to pursue the prestigious International Standard for Organization "ISO 9001" Certification.

According to senior management's comments after the signing of the agreement with International Management Systems Marketing, Inc., of New York, NY, the aim is to facilitate trade, exchange and the licensing of DFI's technology on a worldwide basis through:

enhanced product quality and reliability;
improved health, safety and environmental protection;
greater compatibility and interoperability;
simplification of operational procedures;
reduction in costs;
increased distribution efficiency, and ease of maintenance.

"We expect to have full implementation of ISO 9001 standards by July of this year", said Mr. Guillermo Seta, Vice President of DFI, Inc. Mr. Seta also indicated that "this new standard for DFI aligns very well with our business strategy and the marketing of our technology on a global basis".
