AGP'S BULLET RESISTANT GLASS APPLIES DF PROCESS
SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO, November 2001- Diamon-Fusion®International (DFI), previous award-winner of the Innovative Product of the Year, is now applying its unique hydrophobic coating to AGP's bullet resistant automotive glass, under their exclusive licensing agreement. American Glass Products Company (AGP), DFI's most recent international licensee, is currently under full operation of the Diamon-Fusion® process.
AGP's BR Glass may be found on certain models of the following automotive manufacturers:
Audi, BMW, Cadillac, Chevrolet, Chrysler, Dodge, Ford, GM, Honda, Hyundai, Infiniti, Isuzu, Jaguar, Jeep, Land Rover, LEXUS, Lincoln, Mazda, MERCEDES BENZ, Mercury, Mitsubishi, Nissan, Peugeot, Renault, Toyota, VW, VOLVO.
"The use of the Diamon-Fusion® process provides additional and, most important, very valuable properties to AGP's state-of-the-art BR Glass", said Mr. Guillermo Seta, Executive Vice President of DFI, Inc, after attending an executive meeting recently held at AGP Corporate Offices. Bullet resistant glass is used against armed attacks from terrorists, robbers, hit men and criminals in general- from a plain street assault with a hand gun (.22 mm, .38 special, .357/. 44 magnum) to an all out attack with a 7.62 mm NATO M-61 AP Ball rifle, according to AGP sources.
It has been proven by independent lab tests that a hydrophobic coating such as Diamon-Fusion®, applied on an automotive windshield, improves visibility during rainy conditions up to 34%, giving an additional second of reaction time to the driver, which translates into an invaluable safety feature.
