SHISEIDO COSMETICS SPECS DIAMON-FUSION TO SEAL ETCHED GLASS

SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO, June 2001 - International cosmetics giant Shiseido Cosmetics Ltd. new showroom in Santa Monica, California had a problem. Their entire shop was filled with that "beautiful to look at but terrible to clean" etched glass. Everywhere you looked. So they asked their architects to find and specify a protective treatment that could be field applied and help reduce the maintenance. "1100 Architects" of New York, New York with some due diligence by their contractor "The Summit Group" of Culver City, California, chose the Diamon-Fusion® process. Sources for the architect claim the main reason Diamon-Fusion® was chosen was their guarantee that the treatment would not crack, peel, chip, haze, or yellow on clear or etched glass. All problems their previously specified treatments had.

Earlier this year Diamon-Fusion® Licensees Brite and Clean Window of Palm Desert, CA and Hollywood Glass of Hollywood, CA joined forces to get the etched glass, already dirty from construction conditions, completely restored and treated prior to the stores grand opening.

Company and Product Information:
Diamon-Fusion® is a proprietary process of imbedding an optically clear film into the microscopic ridges of glass and glass glazed surfaces and then 'capping' it, creating a long lasting hydrophobic (water-repellent) seal. The seal prevents surface damage and dramatically reduces the time required to maintain treated surfaces in residential, commercial, automotive or industrial applications.

The company's licensees have the ability to apply the treatments to new and existing glass and glazed surfaces in homes and businesses, as well as the ability to restore glass and tile to its' original appearance prior to treating it. The most popular applications include shower enclosures, etched glass and skylights.

In addition to creating a water-repellent surface, Diamon-Fusion® also makes glass harder to break or scratch, repels graffiti, and protects etched and sandblasted glass from the frequent and easy staining caused by handling or moisture. The process is a previous winner of KITCHEN & BATH BUSINESS MAGAZINE'S, "INNOVATIVE PRODUCT OF THE YEAR AWARD".

More Information may be obtained on the company's newly update web site at www.diamonfusion.com.
